Electricity:  

European offshore wind power capacity is set to double to 25 GW by 2020, according to WindEurope, the wind generators’ association. “Offshore wind is now competitive with all other forms of power generation,” 

Gas: 

Oxford Institute of Energy Studies predicts that the premium UK gas prices carry to mainland European gas prices may increase as a result of Brexit, particularly in the winter, as the UK market becomes a less relevant trading hub.
